In addition, he was Commandant Indian Battalion in United Nation Mission in Congo (Africa), and Special Action Training Group in National Security Guards (NSG), Manesar, Haryana.

Kamaljit Singh, Ex-Commandant, BSF (Border Security Force), is a specialist in Security and Administration. He had joined India’s Premier Para-Military Force, i.e. BSF as Assistant Commandant in 1989. He served the nation for over 24 years in terrorist prone J & K during peak of its militancy, having the distinction of serving thrice in Naxal infested areas of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. Besides, he also served in the country of KOSOVO as part of the Indian contingent to the United Nation’s Mission where he was awarded with UN Medal.
